We warmly welcome well-behaved, mature and fully house-trained pets.
However, not all our guests are animal lovers and we want to minimise evidence of their presence. We ask that they be encouraged to sleep on the floor rather than on seats or beds – should this not be possible, please use the dust sheets provided to cover the furniture. We have no objection to dogs or cats sleeping in their owner’s bedroom, preferably downstairs, if that is where they settle best, but please use either the dog duvets provided or bring your own bed, crate or blanket.
Outdoors, both around the house and when walking in fields, please pick up or completely bury all dog mess as it can transmit disease to farm animals.
We particularly ask that animals are NOT left unattended in either the house or the garden.
